ARE WE A FIT ?
What It's All About
You want to build something that has substance.
No hasty decisions. No half-measures.
But rather something that works and lasts.
How I Work
I step in when projects need clarity.
And bring structure to what already exists and to what is yet to come.
This could mean:
– Rethinking things
– Clarify existing information
– or to change it fundamentally
No more. But no less, either.
Important point
I make a point of working with exactly what a project really needs.
This may involve existing resources.
Or new materials, new solutions, new approaches.
👉 It's not about “less.”
👉 It's about doing the right thing at the right time.
When It's a Good Fit
We're a good match if:
– you're ready to make clear decisions
– you can recognize quality and wear it
– you want something that’s not just “beautiful,” but also harmonious
– you're open to honest feedback
– you really want to see your project through to the end
When It Doesn't Work
If you…
– you just need something quickly
– don't want to allow for a clear direction
– or expect me to just “do it”
…then I'm not the right person for the job.
Investment
I don't work just for the money. But I also don't work for less than I'm worth.
Good projects need clear structures –
And that includes a realistic framework.
First, two important background factors:
Every project is unique. There are no off-the-shelf solutions. Therefore, the actual amount of work involved cannot be determined exactly in advance.
All prices are estimates. I will provide a binding cost estimate after Phases 1 and 2.
I take on only three projects per year. This guarantees you my full attention, in-depth analysis, and a solution that truly suits you and your location. Spots are limited—it’s worth reaching out early.
# PHASE 1: ORIENTATION - Pricing based on distance and effort
I'll stop by, take my time, listen, and analyze your space - its layout, atmosphere, and the people there.
After that, you'll know if and how things can move forward.
My work begins behind the scenes—which is why this phase is considered a separate, paid service.
| Zone | Scope of ApplicationGeltungsbereich | Power | Price (net) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Local | up to 50 km (one-way trip) | Travel to the site, on-site analysis (approx. 1–2 hours), initial consultation, preliminary feasibility assessment | 250 € |
| Regional | up to 200 km (one-way trip) | Same as the local option, but with a longer commute and more time on site (half a day) | 450–600 € (depending on the amount of work involved) |
| Nationwide / International | over 200 km or abroad (e.g., Austria, Switzerland) | such as region and travel time, overnight stay if necessary, full day on site | Custom quote (e.g., starting at €950) |
Important:
The fee for Phase 1 is due regardless of whether you decide to hire me later. It covers my preparation, travel expenses, analysis, and initial assessment.
A binding appointment is made only on the basis of a document signed in advance by both parties.
## PHASE 2: CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT - starting at €2,500 (approximate price)
I am developing a well-thought-out plan that includes the following points:
Material Suggestions + Research
3D-Visualization
An initial estimate of costs and time
Close collaboration with you
That is the basis for the next decision.
Note on the price:
The amount of €2,500 is a rough estimate - it may vary depending on the complexity of the one-of-a-kind item.
I will make a definitive statement after Phase 1 is complete.
Bonus (optional):
If you commission Phase 2, 50% of the Phase 1 fee will be credited to you as a token of our appreciation. This is not an automatic offer, but a gesture of gratitude for your trust.
### PHASE 3: IMPLEMENTATION - Daily rate based on scope + materials
I'll implement the concept on-site - in close consultation with you.
Daily rate: based on scope / depending on the specific item
Material: will be billed separately (by arrangement)
Travel Expenses (for additional trips outside the local zone) will be billed separately
Optional Participation (Phase 3) - With Clear Rules
At the customer's request, limited assistance with simple, preparatory tasks is possible (e.g., clearing the area, hauling, cleaning).
The specific tasks and the time frame (max. 2–3 hours per day) will be formally established before the start of Phase 3.
My contribution does not relieve me of my professional responsibility for the overall result.
In the event of uncertainties or quality risks, I reserve the right to make corrections on my own - any additional work will be billed separately.
ADDITIONALLY: Legal protection (for both parties)
Before your trip begins, you will receive an “Appointment Confirmation” that outlines the following:
Scope of Work for Phase 1 (including pricing structure)
Binding Fee – Regardless of Whether a Contract Is Subsequently Awarded
Payment terms (e.g., 14 days after the invoice date)
Cancellation Policy (e.g., free of charge up to 48 hours before the appointment; after that, 50% of the fee)
Please note that this is a one-of-a-kind item and that the prices listed for Phases 2 and 3 are therefore approximate—the final price will be determined after Phase 1.
Note regarding the limited number of projects per year (3 spots)
Optional participation in Phase 3 only after prior consultation (including timeline and tasks)
Signature on both sides
- Planning (Phase 2) is my intellectual work.
- If you have someone else implement them later, please credit me as the creator.
- Every project is different.
- Therefore, I can't give you any fixed prices for the project but I charge fairly and transparently.
- I am a designer and craftsman.
- I take on what I can and let people know early on what I can't do.
If you're reading this and realize:
👉 “Yes, that's exactly how my project feels”
Then it makes sense to take the next step.
