MIRABELLE I
This special piece of nature came to me in 2004 as part of a school project. It's a section of the trunk of an old mirabelle. A wood that immediately touched me. It wasn't me who chose it, it found me. Like all my sculptures, this piece spoke to me. It was the first time I consciously felt a material inviting me to shape it. The result is a sculpture with a calm, feminine aura, powerful yet delicate in its presence.
