BABELSBERGER BUCHE
In December 2019, I worked as a propmaker at the Babelsberg film studios. It was winter and old white beeches were being pruned in nearby Babelsberg Park. Some branches were already hollow and posed a risk.
For me it was a gift: one of these imposing branches, probably several centuries old, found its way to me. Carried by the history of one of the most important landscape parks of German Romanticism.
That this piece of nature reached me on this very day felt like providence. Just a few hours earlier it would have been unattainable.
„These unique pieces are reserved for direct encounters“.
Acquisition is currently only possible in person as part of my exhibitions. You will find upcoming dates for this in my blog.
